The University of Evansville's Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Inc, http://www.abet.org/. The Mechanical Engineering program has been accredited since 1970 and the Civil Engineering program since 1997.

In 2015, both programs were re-accredited.
